'As a lifelong lover of music, the piano and the German language, I immersed myself in the history of the Vienna Philharmonic in 2017 as I translated “A Sound Tradition: A Brief History of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra’’ from German to English. The Vienna Philharmonic is truly one of the great orchestras of the world with deep connections to the composers and musicians of the origins of classical music.' ~ John Hargraves, VPS Board Member
